On December 14th, I had an interview to my CM classmate during the class. The pupose of this was to practice interview skill in a particular format. The question I asked was this.
"If you could genetically engineer your child, would you do so? Why or why not?"
I asked this Q to Yo, shuntaro who is my CM classmate. I choose him to interview because to share the practice with other classmate. Shuntaro has no children. he has a yonger sister and yungest brother.
shuntaro's answer for the Q was NO. He believe in natural selection. He said that he will accept any kind of handycaps or somthing negative things that will happen to his son or daughter that can be avoid by genetical engineer. shuntaro also added that he do not want to escape from any kind of fact. However, at the last he said with smile that his opinion may change if he felt that his children is so cute tyhat he can fell ok to escape from the fact that natural selection gave to him..

Yeah, our opinions we have at the moment can be easily changed. We do not have any experience to have our own children. I do not have experienced to live with a person who have disabilities neither in my relatives.
But at least we are thinking about it and sharing opinions through discussion. It is an important thing, I think.

Hummm, it is understandable and acceptable to change opinions in the future as Mick says. We have no idea what will be happened in the future.
