Interview

On December 14th, I had an interview to my CM classmate during the class. The pupose of this was to practice interview skill in a particular format. The question I asked was this.

"If you could genetically engineer your child, would you do so? Why or why not?"

I asked this Q to Yo, shuntaro who is my CM classmate. I choose him to interview because to share the practice with other classmate. Shuntaro has no children. he has a yonger sister and yungest brother.

shuntaro's answer for the Q was NO. He believe in natural selection. He said that he will accept any kind of handycaps or somthing negative things that will happen to his son or daughter that can be avoid by genetical engineer. shuntaro also added that he do not want to escape from any kind of fact. However, at the last he said with smile that his opinion may change if he felt that his children is so cute tyhat he can fell ok to escape from the fact that natural selection gave to him..

Cloning !!!

I'm interested in the issue of Cloning. There is lot of posibility to cahnge the future by its huge amount of potential. What is the benefit to accererate researchs of cloning? At the same time, what is the risk or negative fact to keep going on the cloning researchs?

I want to know what will happen when we develop the technology of cloning.
